Interactive Displays
We have been developing real-time interactive displays for exhibits and performances since 1992. Whether you want an interactive floor projection, window display, surface projection or interactive robotic components, challenge us and we will develop a proposal and piece for you.
Video to MIDI and interactive real-time display for improvisational dance 2007 at Savannah’s S.P.A.C.E. Black Box Theater (performance funded by the city of Savannah)
Tangible humanized music sequencer using river stones 2006
You may have seen some other tangible MIDI interfaces that look great but make really boring and predictable music. This one is designed more to explore musical structures than it is to make a flashy display. Note the complex interactions of the algorithmically generated scans with the intuitively placed tokens. This is semi-generative or interactive-generative music production.
Interactive floor projection 2009
installation at the Telfair Museum’s Jepson Center.
Real-time video effects from 1992
Effects were controlled via computer keyboard with one hand while other hand and face were used for the content.
